DISAPPOINTMENT
To Whom It May Concern - I have recently stayed at Linwood Lodge for 3 nights and could not believe what a dive I had booked myself into - I came to Sydney for the sole purpose of seeing my 2 sons and was completely devastated at my accommodation choice. I took photos on my mobile phone so my family could see for themselves what a hovel this motel really was. The 3 star rating and photos of the motel on the internet certainly do not match what the motel is actually like and I don't know where they got the room photos from. The room was unclean, needed renovation, no ventilation from the shower, filthy carpet, mice or rats within the wall cavity, sheets and towels were off white. thank goodness I am not a large person as there was no room to sit on the toilet seat properly and the taps from the shower and sink leaked constantly. So you can see how bitterly disappointed I am with my stay at this motel and to think I paid $99 per night when I could have stayed in a much nicer chain.

Sep 23, 2010Unhappy traveller, Australia The smell of the room was terrible. It nearly made us sick. The beds were less than average and whatever the sheets were washed in made my eyes water.

Review for Linton Lodge Artarmon
At $99 special rate, I was allocated a ground floor room with a broken window, the flyscreen of which was also torn and slightly mangled. This damage did not look to be recent. The exterior presented a bodgied up job that I took to be some sort of security measure.
The breakfast was as I had ordered and was delivered to the room in the allocated time
The staff were polite and professional.
